About The Film
The film aims to show, not necessarily "prove," that music is a universal language whereby we put together a group of four musicians who had never played together as a group, to perform in front of a live audience. They didn't even know who they'd be performing with until the show. It was amazing.
Within the film we'll also showcase music in the local Windsor, Ontario area. There's a rich history of music in this city and many creative artists. We'll look at the decades, the genres and the scenes. Local Windsor artists are submitting their live video footage and music CD's to include in the film. As well, a number of individuals have offered archival media to include in the film. We are accepting video and music from any Windsor bands/musicians, any genre, past or present. We will accept submissions until we are in post-production, hopefully in the next few months, summer 2012. Please visit the submissions page for submission guidelines.
The film is presented by OMS Entertainment in association with EP Productions and My Good Movie.
The film is written and directed by JD Oppen (Radio/Video/Film Grad - Specs Howard School of Media Arts) and produced by Svjetlana "Lana" Oppen (Communications/Media/Film Undergrad - University Of Windsor).
